Casey Grammar is a member of School Sport Victoria (SSV) and competes against other local secondary schools within the Casey South Division. Our teams and individuals will have the opportunity to progress on to region and state finals if successful.
Casey Grammar has proven to be a school with a strong reputation in sport, as demonstrated by our high levels of participation and achievement, teamwork and leadership, and sporting conduct. In 2011, 2012 and 2013, our school led the Casey South Division with the highest total of successful sport and carnival teams. This is indicative of the resources available to students, coupled with the determination to succeed in all sporting activities whilst wearing the Casey Grammar uniform.
The sports program at Casey Grammar gives all students the opportunity to participate in a wide range of individual and team sports. These include:
- Term 1 - Swimming, Volleyball, Tennis, Cricket, Baseball and Softball
- Term 2 - Cross Country, Australian Rules Football, Soccer, Netball and Badminton
- Term 3 - Athletics, Basketball, Hockey and Table Tennis
All students are allocated to a house group for intra-school sporting events. The four houses are named after the founders of the school Lever, Reid, Trist and Booth. There is a Swimming, Cross Country and Athletics carnival each year and all interested students have the opportunity to compete. Winners of the house competition advance to the Casey South Division interschool competition.
